Privacy policy
The short version
This is a static website. There are no accounts, no comment systems and no forms that submit personal information to us. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details, and we do not run advertising trackers.
What we collect
| What | Why | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| A single browser setting recording that you dismissed the 18+ notice | So you are not shown the notice on every page | Your own browser (local storage), not our servers |
| Standard web server logs | Security, abuse prevention and understanding which pages are used | Our server, retained for a limited period |
Server logs typically include IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. They are used for security and diagnostics. This site is served through a content delivery network, which will also process request data on our behalf in the ordinary way.
What we do not collect
- No names, email addresses or phone numbers
- No payment or card details of any kind
- No account or login data
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels
- No data sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing
Cookies and local storage
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only browser storage we use is a local storage entry recording that you accepted the 18+ notice, and it stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If we introduce analytics in future to understand which guides are useful, we will use a privacy-respecting setup that does not build a profile of you, and this page will be updated before it goes live.
Outbound links
When you click a link to a casino, you leave this site and become subject to that operator's privacy policy, terms and data practices. We have no control over those and no access to any data you give them. Read their policies before registering.
Automated requests
We publish machine-readable files including a sitemap, robots.txt and an RSS feed to support search engines and answer engines. That is the only automated interaction we invite. We may submit URLs to search engines and IndexNow to keep indexing current.
Your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020
You have the right to ask what personal information an organisation holds about you, to request correction, and to make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. In practice we hold essentially no personal information about readers, so there is usually nothing to request. If you believe we hold something about you, email us and we will tell you what it is and correct or delete it.
If you email us, we hold your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable record of corrections. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date. Material changes will be described rather than quietly applied.

Play safely in New Zealand
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Before you deposit anywhere:
- Set a money limit and a time limit for the session, and stop at it.
- Use the account deposit limits, session reminders and time-out tools every licensed operator must provide.
- Never borrow money to gamble and never try to win back a loss.
- Take a break if gambling stops feeling like a choice.
Free, confidential support is available 24/7 from the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655 (text 8006), or through Safer Gambling Aotearoa. You can also self-exclude from New Zealand pokies venues through the Multi-Venue Exclusion scheme.
