N1Bet review
Last updated: . Licence status and bonus terms re-checked 27 October 2026. Merlin NZ is independent and reader-supported. Some links to operators may earn us a commission at no cost to you. This never changes our ratings.
N1Bet is the strongest all-round package in this group and it takes the top spot in our ranking. It is the only brand here where a slots player and a sports punter can share one account and one wallet, and the game library is deep enough that you are unlikely to run out of anything to play.
Two caveats come with the ranking. First, N1Bet is not licensed in New Zealand — the brand is promoted under a Curaçao licence, so a Kiwi account is governed by offshore terms rather than by the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026. Second, and related, New Zealand law since 28 June 2025 allows only TAB NZ (and its sister brand Betcha) to take sports and racing bets from people in New Zealand. N1Bet's sportsbook is real and well built, but using it for New Zealand sport is not the compliant route. Use it for casino games, and use TAB for the rugby.

What works well
- One balance covers casino games and the sportsbook, which suits Kiwis who do both
- Very large game library with the studios most NZ players look for first
- NZ dollars are on the published currency list, so no conversion guesswork
- Strong mobile build — the casino lobby works properly on a phone browser
- Loyalty and reload offers run continuously rather than only on the first deposit
What to watch
- No New Zealand licence: your account sits under Curaçao terms and NZ consumer law does not cover it
- We could not read the binding bonus terms, so the headline welcome figures are not confirmed
- The sportsbook is not something a New Zealand resident can lawfully use for NZ sport — TAB/Betcha has that market
- Some classic NZ deposit methods, including POLi, are not on the published payments list

Our verdict
Licence, ownership and what that means for you
N1 Partners promotes N1Bet as a Curaçao-licensed operation, and the group is well established in the affiliate market with a portfolio that includes RollXO, SlotLords, RetroBet, Spirit, Goldex, HollyWin and Lucky Hunter. We could not open a readable copy of the brand's own terms and conditions during our last check, so we cannot print a licence number or name the current operating company with confidence. Treat the licence claim as operating, not verified by us.
What that means in practice: you are not covered by New Zealand's consumer protections, there is no New Zealand regulator to complain to, and disputes go through the operator's internal process and its Curaçao regulator. That is the trade-off every offshore casino offers Kiwis, and it is why the payments and support scores in our table are not perfect tens.
Bonuses and promotions
The welcome structure is a multi-deposit pack: a match bonus on your first deposits with free spins attached to at least one of them, plus a separate sports welcome offer. Beyond the welcome pack, regular reload bonuses, free-spin drops and a loyalty scheme keep existing players active, which is the part that actually matters after month one.
We deliberately do not headline a total bonus figure for N1Bet. The published figures we found did not agree with each other and we could not check them against the binding terms, so a number on this page would be a guess. What you should check before claiming anything:
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Wagering multiplier and whether it applies to bonus only or bonus + deposit | It multiplies the amount you must turnover before withdrawing |
| Maximum bet while a bonus is active | Breaking it usually voids the bonus and its winnings |
| Expiry window | 7 days is common in this group; miss it and the bonus disappears |
| Game weighting | Slots normally count 100%, live dealer and table games often 10% or less |
| Maximum win cap | Some offers cap what a bonus can ever pay out |
Games and software
The published provider list is a who's who of the studios New Zealand players actually search for: Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Playtech, Yggdrasil and Hacksaw Gaming among them. That covers the current top-of-lobby titles — the Pragmatic hold-and-win style slots, NetEnt classics such as Starburst and Gonzo's Quest, Hacksaw's high-volatility releases and Evolution's live dealer tables.
For a slots-first player this is about as complete a line-up as you will find offshore, and the live casino section is a genuine one rather than a token handful of tables.
Payments for New Zealand players
The operator's published payment list covers Visa and Mastercard, Maestro, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and several cryptocurrencies. NZ dollars appear on the currency list. POLi is not on the published list, which is worth knowing because POLi is the method many Kiwis reach for first.
A practical warning that applies to every brand on this page: New Zealand banks can and do block gambling transactions on eligible cards. If a card deposit is declined, that is usually the bank rather than the casino, and an e-wallet or crypto route is the usual workaround.
Mobile experience
The mobile lobby is a properly responsive build rather than a squeezed desktop page: categories load without horizontal scrolling, the cashier is usable on a small screen and the sportsbook switches cleanly between pre-match and in-play. No app-store download is needed, which keeps it simple on iOS.
Support
Live chat is the primary channel with email as backup. Support is English-language and 24/7 in our experience, and the agents can action deposit limits and time-outs — worth testing yourself as soon as you open an account, because a site that makes responsible-gambling tools hard to find is a red flag all by itself.
Who N1Bet suits
You want one account for a very large slot library and you are comfortable with an offshore Curaçao account and NZD deposits. If what you actually want is to bet on the All Blacks or Super Rugby, use TAB or Betcha instead — that is the licensed route in New Zealand and the only one that keeps your bet inside NZ rules.
N1Bet for New Zealand players in one table
| Editor score | 9.8/10, ranked #1 of 8 in our October 2026 list |
|---|---|
| Licence | Curaçao licence promoted on the affiliate profile — licence number not confirmed |
| Licensed in New Zealand? | No — offshore licence only |
| NZ sports betting | Restricted to TAB NZ regardless of what the operator offers |
| Verification level | Partial — independent reviews and affiliate profiles consulted; binding operator terms not readable |
What we could not verify
Publishing gaps is part of the review. These points were still open at our last check:
- We could not read N1Bet's own terms and conditions, so the current operating company and Curaçao licence number are unconfirmed.
- Welcome pack amounts, wagering multiplier, maximum bet and expiry are not confirmed against binding terms; independent listings disagree.
- Withdrawal processing times and any NZ-specific minimum withdrawal were not published on a page we could read.
- Native iOS and Android app availability is unconfirmed; the mobile browser build is what we tested.
Always confirm licence details and bonus terms on the operator's own site before you deposit. See how we rate.

Play safely in New Zealand
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Before you deposit anywhere:
- Set a money limit and a time limit for the session, and stop at it.
- Use the account deposit limits, session reminders and time-out tools every licensed operator must provide.
- Never borrow money to gamble and never try to win back a loss.
- Take a break if gambling stops feeling like a choice.

N1Bet: frequently asked questions
Is N1Bet legal for New Zealand players?
It is not illegal for a person in New Zealand to gamble with an offshore operator, but N1Bet holds no New Zealand licence. Your account is governed by Curaçao terms and New Zealand consumer protections do not apply. Sports and racing bets for New Zealand customers can only be taken by TAB NZ, so use N1Bet for casino games only.
Does N1Bet accept New Zealand dollars?
NZD appears on N1Bet's published currency list, so you can usually hold and deposit in NZ dollars. Confirm it in the cashier when you register, because currency menus can differ by country.
Can I deposit with POLi at N1Bet?
POLi is not on the published payments list for this brand. The listed options are Visa and Mastercard, Maestro, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and cryptocurrencies. Note that New Zealand banks may block gambling transactions on debit and credit cards.
What is the N1Bet welcome bonus?
It is a multi-deposit welcome pack with free spins, and it is separate from the sportsbook offer. We have not published a total figure because the sources we could read disagree and we could not verify the binding terms. Check the amount, wagering multiplier, maximum bet and expiry inside the promotion page before you deposit.
Which software providers does N1Bet use?
The published list includes Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Playtech, Yggdrasil and Hacksaw Gaming, covering slots, live dealer tables, crash games and the sportsbook.
How does N1Bet compare with the other N1 Partners brands?
N1Bet is the broadest product in the group because it adds a full sportsbook, and it is the brand we would recommend first for someone who plays slots and follows sport. RollXO, Spirit, Goldex, HollyWin and SlotLords are casino-first, while RetroBet and Lucky Hunter also run sportsbooks internationally.
